Dover, Ohio - The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a card skimmer was discovered at a Dover gas station.

Deputies responded Friday morning to the BP station at 1120 N. Tuscarawas Ave. after an employee called to report one of their pumps appeared to have been tampered with. All the pumps were shut down and inspected, and an illegal card reader was located. The device is believed to have been placed sometime Thursday. No further information was immediately available. 

Customers are encouraged to carefully monitor their accounts and report any unauthorized charges to their bank or credit card issuer.
