New Philadelphia, Ohio - Buckeye Career Center officials are looking for local businesses to participate in their upcoming career fair. 

BCC’s annual Career Connections Career Fair will be on Thursday, April 18th, from 12:15 to 2:15 pm. Superintendent Bob Alsept says this event allows BCC high school students to learn about the opportunities and employment expectations in their career clusters while helping businesses increase their pool of potential candidates for employment. 

 Students from the following programs will be participating in the event: Agricultural & Diesel Technology, Auto Collision Repair, Auto Technology, Business/Marketing, CAD/Development & Design, Commercial Truck Technology, Computer Technology/Network Systems, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education,
Energy Operations, Exercise Science & Sports Medicine, Floral Design, Graphic Arts, HVAC-R, Hospitality Services, Electrical Systems Technology, Intro to Nursing, Landscaping & Turf Management, Law Enforcement, Masonry, Meat Cutting, Deli & Bakery, Medical Assisting, Natural Resources, Outdoor Power Equipment Technology, Project Lead the Way/Engineering, Pharmacy Technician, Precision Machining, Teaching Professions, TRACE-U and Welding.

The deadline for businesses to register to participate is April 1st. Registered businesses will each be supplied with a six-foot table and two chairs to use as they interact with students. There is no cost to register but donations to benefit Buckeye Foundation scholarships will be accepted.
