New Philadelphia, Ohio - Buckeye Career Center is opening its doors to prospective adult students during its winter open house. 

The BCC Adult Education Open House is set for Tuesday, Feb. 26th, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the school's main campus in New Philadelphia. The event is open to recent or soon-to-be high school graduates and adults wanting to start a new career or learn additional skills. Attendees will receive information about the eight full-time programs BCC is offering in the fall and speak. They will also have an opportunity to speak with admissions and financial aid representatives. 

BCC's full-time Adult Education programs include Cosmetology, Dental Assisting, Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Heavy Equipment/ CLD A Operator, Medical Assisting, Medical Office & Billing Specialist, Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA), and Utility Lineworker. All except for cosmetology can be completed within nine months. Anyone attending the open house will also have his or her $50 application fee waived when applying for classes.
