Buckeye Career Center strives to make their campuses a drug free environment by launching a new initiative. At the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, BCC will begin a chapter of the Drug-Free Clubs of America program. This program will aim to promote a healthy living and drug-free lifestyle for teenagers. Once students have enrolled in the program, they will be drug tested periodically throughout the school year. Public Relations Coordinator Shyanne Carroll says the district is asking for assistance to help with the costs of this new program.
