Alsept, Maurer named New Philadelphia October Students of the Month

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - New Philadelphia High School's Students of the Month for October have been announced, as senior Drew Maurer and junior Aleia Alsept earned the respective honors.

Alsept, pictured below, is the daughter of Bob and Lisa Aslept, and is focusing her academics on Advanced Placement courses to prepare her for college. She participates in the Quakers' soccer and swim teams.

Maurer, the son of Rob and Jane Maurer, is a leader on the Quakers boys' soccer team and has been a part of the Project Lead The Way program throughout his high school career.
