Strasburg, Ohio - The Tusco Amateur Radio Club will be hosting their annual Hamfest, Electronics, and Computer Show on Sunday, January 27th, at Wallick’s Auction Center.

For 29 years, this show has attracted Amateur Radio enthusiasts from all around the region, to buy, sell, and trade gear including Amateur Radio or “Ham Radio” gear, CB, Electronics, and Computer Equipment.  Many come to see old friends, and others come to learn about the hobby and how to get licensed, and to find great deals on Amateur Radio equipment to get started in the hobby.

Members of the TUSCO amateur Radio club will be available to answer questions about the club and its activities and how to get licensed as an Amateur Radio Operator.  Members of the ARES Group will also be on hand to explain how they are prepared to provide emergency communications should the need arise in the county.  The Emergency Communications Truck will also be on display and will be “talking in” visitors from out of the area on the club's 146.730 MHz radio repeater.

Wallick's Auction Center is located at 965 N. Wooster Ave. The building opens at 6 am for set up and 8 am to 1 pm for the public. Parking is free.  The cost of admission is a $5 donation, and those wishing to sell equipment can reserve a table for $10.  To reserve a table, contact Janice Green at 740-922-4454 or k8wfn@tusco.net.
