New Philadelphia standout Logan Ortt to play in Blue-Grey All American Bowl in Dallas

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - New Philadelphia senior football star Logan Ortt will play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Dallas on Monday, January 18.

Ortt was listed as a punter for the West squad, which will be coached by former NFL veteran George Teague.

Ortt was named to the second team among All-Ohioans, had 84 tackles (54 solo) at the linebacker position. He also recorded three sacks, five quarterback hurries, and nine tackles for loss.

Ortt also worked at running back for the Quaker offense, running for 517 yards and six rushing touchdowns.

Ortt, who has offers from Valparaiso, Dayton, Fairmont State, Clarion, and Robert Morris, averaged 40.24 yards per punt return. Twelve of his punt returns were taken back to within the opposing 20-yard line.

Blue-Grey Football was established in 1989 and the founders were Gus Bell and his son, Erik. The two establish the brand of prep prospects from all over the country to receive national exposure and increase their chances of securing college scholarships, whether that be at the NCAA Division I level, Div. II or III, also NAIA or Junior College.
