Dover QB Hall inactive vs Tallmadge due to COVID-19 exposure

DOVER, Ohio - Even as the Dover Tornadoes won 63-21 over the Tallmadge Blue Devils Friday night, they were without star quarterback Ayden Hall.

Hall was ruled inactive for Friday's game, along with fellow junior Matthew Dummermuth, after the two shared a class with a fellow Dover student who was diagnosed with COVID-19, according to the Times-Reporter.

Hall, one of the top quarterbacks in the area, was filled in for by fellow junior T.C. Molk, who threw a school record-tying seven touchdown passes. Molk joined former Dover slingers Perci Garner (2005) and Mason Mamarella (2013) for most scoring throws in a game.

Hall and Dummermuth will be eligible to return for Dover's game in the next round of the state playoffs, which will be against the Steubenville Big Red, the team that handed the Tornadoes a 28-7 loss back in September down in Death Valley.
